Unravelled

Vintage fabrics and netting with cotton threads and hand-stitches. When Ravel composed “Bolero” it was thought he may have been suffering from Alzheimer’s. “Unravelled” speaks of the anguish and confusion experienced by all who are touched by this disease.

To my fibre and textile work, I bring a background of traditional visual arts. I endeavour to show light, shadow, contrast and texture in the context of our daily lives. I simply ask that you look further to see what lies beneath.
